Nov. 27 (Saturday) 10 am – 5 pm and Nov. 28 (Sunday) 10 am – 4 pm
CHRISTMAS IN THE BACK COUNTRY, a walk through the Colonial Village of Willow Springs at Christmastime, will be held at the Living History Park in North Augusta, SC the weekend after Thanksgiving. The Village will awaken at 10am each day to a period representation from our area’s past. Most all of the Village buildings will be opened and staffed by the townsfolk preparing for their holidays. This is the perfect opportunity to start your own holiday season by escaping the hustle and bustle of our over-the-top traditions and enjoy a peaceful stroll through history.
Most of the buildings will be open at 10am except for the Mercantile and Sweet Shop which open at 10:30am. Father Christmas will join us at the Meeting House each day at 11am to talk with the children. All building close at 5pm on Saturday and 4pm on Sunday. This a free event but donations are greatly appreciated.
