Step back in time to celebrate the birth of our country. This year we have added a parade and costume contest. Show your patriotic spirit and dress up. The Declaration of Independence will be read at 12:00 pm at the Thompson Academy. The Mayor of North Augusta will be our special guest. There will be limited refreshments and hot dogs. The historic buildings will be open during the event for guests to tour. Pets are welcome as long as they are well-behaved and on a leash.
This schedule is not written in stone. It may shift a little depending on how things go so leave some extra time if you are participating in the parade/contest.
Parade – 11:30 am
Reading – 12:00 pm
Costume Judging – 12:30 pm
